From the spark of an idea to the realization of a dream, the journey of RAVENLIA began with a single moment of inspiration and a fierce determination to succeed. We’re on a mission to return to the goodness of yesteryear with fresh sweets and other yummies, natural alternatives, and high-quality, handmade items of the Appalachian region. We’re lining the walls now with whittling, woodworking, sewing, carving, pottery, paintings, drawings, quilts, clothing, aprons, hats, cakes, fresh breads, honey, locally grown fruits, and veggies. So, if you’re a carver, baker, maker, or decorator – consider becoming a vendor.

Due to our unique location, halfway between Galax and the Blue Ridge Parkway, we are creating a wonderland of shopping, entertainment, and alternative healthy lifestyle options for our local community while tempting the tourists with a perfect stopping point to play on their way to a music event in Galax or to sightsee on the Blue Ridge Parkway in these old Appalachian mountains.
How it all started
I was a young mother when I started studying the chemical structure of plants to find alternative options so I could keep myself and my family free of synthetic chemicals. But, it wasn’t until 2007 that an accident (and a broken back) took me on a journey across the country to find a completely natural way to get real pain relief. The many things I learned eventually gave me the confidence and determination to make my own effective pain reliever – without drugs, steroids, or synthetics – now known as the MINTY RELIEF Formula. It was the sharing of Minty Relief with others that eventually led to the formation of my own business, Alywillow.
You see, three very important realizations came to me in the early 90’s that shaped my life…
- First, our skin absorbs a lot of stuff – good and bad.
- Second, we are surrounded by a plethora of synthetic ingredients that can harm us.
- Third, our ancestors lived without synthetic chemicals and so can we.
Hi, I’m Aliya Trinity, CEO and Founder of Alywillow and Ravenlia Galleria. I’ve spent years searching the Appalachian Mountains for an old building with character, near a sweet little town, to establish a home base for my business. I found the perfect place in 2022, when I purchased this old building, situated between the bluegrass capital of the world, Galax, VA, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is visited by over 15 million people each year. Looking more like a run-down barn than a warehouse, this location was an answer to prayers! The bright window light and wooden interior are an ideal showroom for the 150+ natural products that we create here at Alywillow, including Minty Relief. But, I came to see the possibilities of this building are so much greater than just that, and I hope you’ll come shop with us.
